We’ve improved the chute and animal health features, making it easier and faster to manage animals and treatments.

🆕 New Quick Start FunctionalityWith the new Quick Start functionality, you can pull out animals and begin working right away—no need to create a work order beforehand.Just define your sorting criteria (by weight, quantity, or no sorting at all), assign or change tags, weigh animals, and apply treatments or protocols. Everything is fast, flexible, and immediate.

🔜 Coming Soon: Search animals by lot directly from the chute black screen.

🆕 Improved Chute Order Creation InterfaceWe’ve redesigned the chute order creation interface with a cleaner, more intuitive design.The new step-by-step flow makes it easier and faster to create an order. Now you can search by lot and pen to quickly locate animals and build your chute plan.

🔜 Coming Soon: Create a treatment or assign a protocol directly during order creation—no need to pre-plan treatments in advance.

🤠 Pen RiderWhen searching for a tag with the exact number, the individual animal profile now opens immediately—no extra steps.A small improvement that helps speed up daily operations.

Coming Soon: Cattle In from the chuteSend animals directly from the chute into an existing or new lot—streamlining intake and pen assignments.

Cattler on the Road: Highlights from Last Month

Last month, the Cattler team was on the move, attending key events and connecting with industry leaders. Here’s a recap of what we’ve been up to:

📍 Animal AgTech Innovation Summit – Dallas, TXWe had the pleasure of showcasing Cattler’s innovative solutions at this major event, where industry leaders came together to discuss the latest advancements in livestock technology. It was a fantastic opportunity to connect and share how we’re transforming feedlot management.Be sure to watch the interview with Ignacio Albornoz, Cattler’s co-founder and CEO, conducted by Emma Coffman, where they discuss our vision and impact in the industry.

📍 Midwest Consulting Nutritionist Forum – San Antonio, TXGreat conversations with some of the most knowledgeable minds in cattle nutrition. It was an insightful gathering that deepened our understanding of the nutritional challenges facing the industry.

📍 Annual Team Gathering in NebraskaIn April, the entire Cattler team traveled to Nebraska for our annual gathering at our new headquarters in Lincoln. We celebrated milestones, tackled new challenges, and reconnected with what drives us—our members. From visiting feedlots to meeting with producers, nutritionists, and vets, this trip reminded us why we do what we do.Thanks to everyone who welcomed us—we’re more inspired than ever to keep building the future of livestock management.

Last month was packed with valuable connections and insightful discussions that will continue to shape the future of Cattler. We’re excited for what’s ahead!

📣 Cattler in the Spotlight

Cattler CEO and co-founder Ignacio Albornoz was recently featured in Silicon Prairie News in an article exploring how international startups are finding fertile ground for growth in Nebraska. Albornoz shared insights on relocating Cattler from California to Lincoln, citing the state's supportive agtech ecosystem, strong community connections, and access to local talent through programs like the Engler Agribusiness Entrepreneurship Program at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln. He emphasized that Nebraska's close-knit network and agricultural infrastructure made it an ideal place to scale Cattler’s cattle management platform.
